Resend reports reaching 3,000,000 users six months after reaching 1 million, while its team grew from 25 to 43 members and weekly npm downloads increased from 1.4M to 6.8M. The company says it has been profitable since last year without reducing cloud or Datadog spending or slowing hiring, treating profitability as flexibility for product decisions rather than the goal. Its support model gives AI agents the product’s tools for routine questions while keeping engineer support available when answers are not found. For developers and agents, Resend has made every page render as Markdown, expanded MCP coverage from about 8% to about 90%, shipped a 53-command CLI, and planned remote MCP and OAuth, while positioning Automations alongside sending, receiving, and broadcasting in one email platform.

Resend announces Ben Anderson as its new Ops Generalist, based in London, UK, after he built operating infrastructure at startups, most recently at Treecard. He will develop vendor, finance, and compliance operations as the company scales, bringing experience from a discipline he describes as cross-functional, hands-on, and centered on ownership across the business. Anderson says Resend’s team, product and culture, and transparent values, philosophy, and decision-making process influenced his decision to join. He also discusses running and walking as ways to regain clarity, names 1Password as his favorite tool, advises ambitious operators to seek ownership, prioritise ruthlessly, and learn from experienced operators and mentors, and values teaching complicated topics clearly.

### [6 Tips for Accessible Emails](https://yomu.fyi/post/6-tips-for-accessible-emails.md)
- Company: [Resend](https://yomu.fyi/company/resend.md)
- Published: May 28, 2026
- Type: Tutorial

The Email Markup Consortium’s 2026 report analyzed 376,348 emails and found that only eight passed every accessibility check, while nearly all failures included Serious or Critical issues. The post focuses on six largely mechanical improvements: setting lang and dir, marking layout tables role=“presentation”, creating a heading hierarchy, writing descriptive link and image text, adding a specific title element, and meeting a 4.5:1 color-contrast ratio. It gives HTML examples, notes that clients may strip attributes from the html element, and distinguishes meaningful images from decorative ones that need empty alt text. It also describes updated React Email defaults for language, direction, image alt text, Markdown tables, and titles, while leaving content judgments such as headings, links, and contrast to authors.

Manoel says Resend’s quality, simplicity, sidebar icon animations, and brand work drew him to the company after he used its email product at Savee for customers, prospects, and a weekly inspiration newsletter. Photography, visual curation, sports, and triathlon inform his interests; he names Granola and Strava as favorite tools and Yosemite as a place to recharge in his free time.

### [Six Steps to Improve Your Sender Reputation](https://yomu.fyi/post/six-steps-to-improve-your-sender-reputation.md)
- Company: [Resend](https://yomu.fyi/company/resend.md)
- Published: May 20, 2026
- Type: Tutorial

Sender reputation is the largely private assessment that inbox service providers such as Gmail, Outlook, and Yahoo make before deciding where to deliver email. It reflects infrastructure compliance, sending history and consistency, list hygiene, mail frequency, and recipient engagement, with providers increasingly emphasizing domain reputation over IP reputation. The guide recommends six recovery steps: audit SPF, DKIM, and DMARC; warm up new domains gradually; identify provider-specific blocks or blocklists; clean and segment lists; make unsubscribing easy; and send valuable, mobile-friendly content. It also advises using double opt-in, monitoring engagement, bounce and spam responses, throttling, and DMARC reports, while tightening policies or requesting provider reviews after fixes. Because providers continually reevaluate senders, reputation management requires repeated observation, testing, and adjustment rather than a one-time repair.

His focus is developer experience, especially API design with clean ergonomics that lets developers concentrate on building rather than wrestling with interfaces. Diel describes a path from studying programming and computer fundamentals at Cotemig to following Resend as a user and joining after an interview process he found unusually human; he cites Resend’s DX and craft, along with Zeno’s open source work, as major references. Outside work, he draws inspiration from deliberately curated feeds, new languages and APIs, visual-design communities, and creator friends, while keeping music and interior design as interests; he names Warp Terminal as his favorite tool and Japan as a memorable destination.

Launch Week 6 concluded with five feature releases and one announcement covering email automation, content creation, developer tooling, tracking, and community events. Automations orchestrates lifecycle emails from application events with delays, waits, conditions, test runs before publishing, and real-time visibility into runs. The AI-extended editor turns URLs into on-brand drafts, supports inline block editing and mistake detection, and connects to agentic stacks through the Resend MCP server, while CLI 2.0 adds React-file sending, automation and event management, webhook listening, and AI-agent skills across more than 50 API commands. Custom tracking domains support click and open tracking, React Email 6 adds an embeddable editor and extensions API, and Resend Forward was announced as a San Francisco conference scheduled for October 21.

The program will feature leaders working at the edge of software and AI, with special emphasis on practical tools and ideas that attendees can use. Food, conversations, and swag are planned between sessions, while the stated goal is to connect people who care about quality, share what’s working, and leave them more excited to build. More details are expected in the coming months; tickets will go on sale after the waitlist notification.

### [React Email 6.0](https://yomu.fyi/post/react-email-6-0.md)
- Company: [Resend](https://yomu.fyi/company/resend.md)
- Published: Apr 17, 2026
- Type: Announcement

React Email 6.0 announces an open-source visual editor as its centerpiece, available as a standalone package that outputs email-ready HTML for major inbox providers. The editor is built in two layers: a core that works without configuration and a composable API using EmailNode for custom extensions, with optional themes for styling. The release ships new authentication and e-commerce templates from Character Studio, available as React Email templates or Figma files. All components are now unified into a single package except the editor, simplifying imports and reducing package management. The project has reached 2 million weekly downloads, a 108% increase since the last major release five months ago.

### [Custom Tracking Domains](https://yomu.fyi/post/custom-tracking-domains.md)
- Company: [Resend](https://yomu.fyi/company/resend.md)
- Published: Apr 16, 2026
- Type: Announcement

Resend has launched custom tracking domains, making the feature free for all users. Email tracking typically relies on shared domains, so another sender’s reputation can affect deliverability. Users configure the feature at the domain level by adding a required DNS record, after which Resend routes tracking through the custom domain; both click and open tracking are disabled by default. Click tracking records link clicks through redirects, while open tracking records image downloads from a 1x1 transparent pixel. Custom domains align tracking links with the sending domain, avoid unfamiliar recipient-facing domains, and can improve deliverability; API configuration accepts open and click tracking flags plus a tracking subdomain, while webhooks emit real-time open and click events.

### [Resend CLI 2.0](https://yomu.fyi/post/resend-cli-2-0.md)
- Company: [Resend](https://yomu.fyi/company/resend.md)
- Published: Apr 15, 2026
- Type: Announcement

Resend CLI 2.0 gives terminal-based access to the full Resend API and adds four features: sending emails from local React (.tsx/.jsx) files, managing automations and events, one-command webhook listening with automatic tunneling, and Agent Skills for autonomous API interaction. Users can now create automation runs, inspect results, and build multi-step workflows directly from the command line. The webhook listener automatically sets up a tunnel and forwards all event types to a local server, eliminating the need for separate tunneling tools. Agent Skills provide a structured interface enabling AI agents to independently manage their own inbox, sign up for accounts, receive confirmation emails, process attachments, and respond without manual intervention. Other improvements include programmatic log retrieval, enhanced API key storage via the system keychain (macOS Keychain, Linux Secret Storage, Windows Credential Manager), and the deprecation of the team command in favor of auth.

### [AI Email Editor](https://yomu.fyi/post/ai-email-editor.md)
- Company: [Resend](https://yomu.fyi/company/resend.md)
- Published: Apr 14, 2026
- Type: Announcement

Resend announces an AI-extended email editor designed to help users create emails that retain their brand voice while catching mistakes and reducing workflow friction. Users can provide a URL, and the AI extracts the brand, voice, and tone to generate a ready-to-send draft from existing content such as a blog post, changelog, or product page. During composition, selected blocks can be rewritten, rephrased, or improved, while pre-send checks cover deliverability, content compatibility, subject and preview, broken links, and typos. The editor also supports agents through the Resend MCP server, with access to the visual editor, real-time collaboration, cursor support, and presence indicators; the announcement says all features are live in the Broadcast and Template editors.
