### [Terraform & OpenAPI for ClickPipes is now Generally Available](https://yomu.fyi/post/terraform-openapi-for-clickpipes-is-now-generally-available.md)
- Company: [Clickhouse](https://yomu.fyi/company/clickhouse.md)
- Author: Marta Paes
- Published: Apr 20, 2026
- Type: Announcement

ClickHouse Cloud announced the general availability of ClickPipes resources in Terraform and OpenAPI, expanding infrastructure-as-code support across its managed data ingestion platform. The release resolves previous beta gaps by adding full connector coverage, including Change Data Capture for Postgres, MySQL, and MongoDB, alongside support for BigQuery, Azure Blob Storage, and reverse private endpoints. Operators can provision new data ingestion pipelines, pause or resume sync operations, and scale resources programmatically through OpenAPI endpoints or the ClickHouse Terraform provider starting at version 3.14.0. Existing ClickPipes can also be imported into Terraform state using native import blocks and automated configuration generation. Although SSH tunneling remains under active development, nearly all UI capabilities now map cleanly to programmatic interfaces.

### [Designing flexible payment flows with Checkout Session](https://yomu.fyi/post/designing-flexible-payment-flows-with-checkout-session.md)
- Company: [Stripe](https://yomu.fyi/company/stripe.md)
- Author: Allison Farris
- Published: Mar 6, 2026
- Type: Tutorial

The post addresses the architectural challenge of taking a digital product business global while supporting localized tax, currencies, one-time purchases, subscriptions, and a branded embedded checkout. It recommends Checkout Sessions as the orchestration layer, with Stripe creating and managing the underlying Payment Intent while declarative parameters handle features such as Stripe Tax, Adaptive Pricing, subscriptions, and promotional codes. The implementation creates a session with ui\_mode, mode, automatic\_tax, adaptive\_pricing, line items, and optional payment\_intent\_data, then passes the client secret to Stripe Elements for the Payment Element and Currency Selector. This approach supports localized payment methods and currency conversion without a backend rewrite, while direct Payment Intents remain appropriate when an application needs full control over carts, discounts, taxes, or its own checkout abstraction.

### [Open Responses: What you need to know](https://yomu.fyi/post/open-responses-what-you-need-to-know.md)
- Company: [Hugging Face](https://yomu.fyi/company/hugging-face.md)

- Type: Announcement

Open Responses is a new open inference standard initiated by OpenAI, developed by the open source AI community, and backed by Hugging Face. While agentic workloads require multi-step planning and tool execution, the ecosystem has remained constrained by the legacy Chat Completion format and proprietary Responses implementations. Open Responses addresses this mismatch by standardizing semantic event streaming, provider-specific configuration options, and distinct roles for model providers and intermediary routers. The specification formalizes reasoning visibility across raw traces, protected encrypted content, and sanitized summaries while supporting provider-managed sub-agent execution loops. Developers can now orchestrate multi-step tool calls and stream reasoning deltas across heterogeneous providers through a single consistent API schema.

Many existing AI agent frameworks suffer from brittleness, tool misuse, and failures when executing complex workflows. To address these limitations, the open-source Configurable Generalist Agent (CUGA) introduces structured orchestration that decomposes user goals into programmatic subtasks tracked by a dynamic task ledger. The framework integrates agentic patterns like planner-executor and code-act, delegating subtasks to specialized agents that generate pseudo-code before running execution in a secure sandbox. Released under the Apache 2.0 license, CUGA integrates with Langflow for low-code visual workflow assembly and supports multi-tool environments through OpenAPI specs, MCP servers, and LangChain. Testing on inference platforms like Groq with open models such as gpt-oss-120b demonstrates rapid response times during multi-step planning and validation.

### [Stablecoin payments for Stripe developers: zero crypto knowledge required](https://yomu.fyi/post/stablecoin-payments-for-stripe-developers-zero-crypto-knowledge-requir.md)
- Company: [Stripe](https://yomu.fyi/company/stripe.md)
- Author: Robert Love
- Published: Nov 25, 2025
- Type: Tutorial

The guide explains how Stripe developers can add USDC stablecoin payments without managing private keys, gas estimation, network selection, or wallet connection flows. Stripe supports USDC on Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, and Base, settles transactions as fiat in the merchant’s Stripe balance, and charges a 1.5% fee; the described feature is currently limited to US businesses. Integration can use payment\_method\_types: \['card', 'crypto'\], although Stripe recommends automatic\_payment\_methods for Dashboard-managed configuration, filtering, ordering, and testing. Stripe Checkout and Elements expose crypto without frontend changes, while confirmation, webhook handling, monitoring, and familiar failure processing remain aligned with existing payment flows. The guide also describes Sandbox testing without testnets or fake cryptocurrency and presents crypto payments as a way to offer global settlement and potentially lower processing costs.

### [Marketplace monetization with Stripe](https://yomu.fyi/post/marketplace-monetization-with-stripe.md)
- Company: [Stripe](https://yomu.fyi/company/stripe.md)
- Author: Ana Andres
- Published: Sep 4, 2025
- Type: Tutorial

Online marketplaces connect buyers and sellers while monetizing commissions, shipping, marketing, payment operations, insurance, or other value-added services. Greens & Dairy Mart illustrates a model in which farmers receive payment after delivery, sellers pay a 15% rate on sales, and shipping, marketing, payout, and insurance options create additional revenue streams. Stripe Connect supports transaction-linked fees through the Platform pricing tool or application\_fee\_amount, while Stripe Billing provides usage-based meters, subscriptions, and invoices for recurring or one-off charges. The example records pay-per-click, conversion, and penalty events against farm customers, charges monthly subscriptions automatically, and bills damaged-goods insurance annually, with the stated conclusion that programmatic disbursement and monetization give marketplaces a central point to monitor and report these activities.

### [Stripe for marketplaces: Mapping commercial relationships in code](https://yomu.fyi/post/stripe-for-marketplaces-mapping-commercial-relationships-in-code.md)
- Company: [Stripe](https://yomu.fyi/company/stripe.md)
- Author: Ana Andres
- Published: Jul 3, 2025
- Type: Tutorial

The post presents a guide to mapping marketplace relationships among buyers, sellers, and the platform in Stripe Connect, focusing on payment processing, seller onboarding, payouts, fees, refunds, and disputes. It uses Greens & Dairy Mart, a fictitious farm marketplace, to show how an unlicensed marketplace can manage payments with Stripe while meeting applicable regulatory requirements. Using the Account API, connected accounts, controller settings, KYC links, capabilities, Payment Intents, transfers, and webhooks, the implementation encodes responsibilities and money movements. Greens & Dairy Mart charges customers after farmers confirm dispatch, pays farmers after delivery confirmation, and retains 15% of the final price. The guide also shows refund and transfer reversal flows, including recovering disputed amounts from a seller’s balance, and concludes that Connect APIs can automate complex marketplace contracts and financial interactions.

### [Stop juggling multiple POS devices with Stripe Terminal](https://yomu.fyi/post/stop-juggling-multiple-pos-devices-with-stripe-terminal.md)
- Company: [Stripe](https://yomu.fyi/company/stripe.md)
- Author: Andrew Robinson
- Published: Jun 12, 2025
- Type: Tutorial

Traditional point-of-sale workflows often collect signatures, contact details, receipt preferences, and other customer information through separate devices, verbal input, or manual entry, creating errors, delays, and clutter. Stripe Terminal’s on-screen input collection lets businesses request this data on a compatible reader, supporting selection, signature, email, phone, text, and numeric fields before or after payment. Developers configure forms with the Stripe API or Terminal SDKs, can sequence multiple inputs and attach metadata, and receive responses through terminal.reader.action\_succeeded webhooks; signature files are returned by file ID and need to be downloaded within 24 hours. The rental-car example uses selection and email forms for reservation lookup, followed by an on-reader agreement signature, replacing a separate signature pad and manual transcription while giving the POS more accurate data for receipts, lookups, and loyalty interactions.

### [Extending Docusign with Stripe to automate complex billing workflows](https://yomu.fyi/post/extending-docusign-with-stripe-to-automate-complex-billing-workflows.md)
- Company: [Stripe](https://yomu.fyi/company/stripe.md)
- Author: Paige Rossi
- Published: Jun 2, 2025
- Type: Tutorial

Docusign’s Stripe extension app addresses agreement workflows that continue beyond eSignature, where customer and billing data previously required manual transfer or complex integrations between platforms. The post shows how to install the app, start from the “Send new customer data to Stripe for invoicing” Maestro workflow template, and map web-form data to Stripe Customer, Invoice, InvoiceItem, and Email Invoice steps. It also explains how developers can switch the workflow to an API trigger, retrieve trigger requirements, and launch an instance with two authenticated API calls: one GET and one POST. The resulting flow collects customer information, creates a Stripe customer and draft invoice, adds an invoice item, and sends the invoice, while the returned instance URL can be opened or embedded for participants.

### [New to Stripe? Learn the key concepts for software developers.](https://yomu.fyi/post/new-to-stripe-learn-the-key-concepts-for-software-developers.md)
- Company: [Stripe](https://yomu.fyi/company/stripe.md)
- Author: James Beswick
- Published: Jan 29, 2025
- Type: Tutorial

The guide introduces software developers to Stripe’s main objects and workflows for integrating payments, recurring billing, and related account activity. It begins with Payment Intents, which specify an amount and currency, track a payment’s lifecycle, and produce a client secret for completing the frontend flow, then covers Payment Methods and Customers, including Setup Intents and attaching a default payment method. For subscriptions, it distinguishes Products, Prices, and Subscriptions, and explains using events and webhooks to react to asynchronous payment and subscription changes while verifying webhook signatures. It also describes Disputes, refunds, and expanded API responses, including retrieving related resources in one call. The guide recommends starting in test mode and using dashboard logs while consulting Stripe’s documentation and changelog as the platform evolves.

### [Getting started with Stripe in the UAE: A comprehensive guide for developers](https://yomu.fyi/post/getting-started-with-stripe-in-the-uae-a-comprehensive-guide-for-devel.md)

The article presents Stripe Sandboxes as isolated environments for developing and investigating subscription systems without affecting production data or settings. It explains how to create subscriptions, inspect dashboard actions through Workbench, and review API requests, JSON resource data, and webhook events such as customer.subscription.created and invoice.created. Test Clocks allow developers to advance time and examine subscription cancellation behavior, including the customer.subscription.deleted event after a scheduled cancellation. Workbench’s Shell tab, API Explorer, and Print SDK Request feature support testing requests in the browser and converting them into implementation code, while the article stresses testing plan changes, trial expirations, cancellations, and payment failures.

### [Managing SaaS access control with Stripe’s Entitlements API](https://yomu.fyi/post/managing-saas-access-control-with-stripe-s-entitlements-api.md)
- Company: [Stripe](https://yomu.fyi/company/stripe.md)
- Author: Hidetaka Okamoto
- Published: Oct 31, 2024
- Type: Tutorial

Managing access rights across multiple SaaS pricing plans can require maintaining feature lists, subscription and pricing relationships, and related database resources as plans or features change. The post presents Stripe’s Entitlements API as a way to register features, associate them with Stripe Products, and retrieve active entitlements for a customer’s subscriptions. Its example defines Free, Personal, and Business monthly products priced at $0, $98, and $980, then maps article-viewing and business-report features to those products using Stripe CLI commands in Workbench. Customer entitlement checks can support application authorization, while entitlements.active\_entitlement\_summary.updated webhooks expose before-and-after permission data for workflows triggered by plan changes or cancellations.

### [Leveraging RAG-powered LLMs for analytical tasks](https://yomu.fyi/post/leveraging-rag-powered-llms-for-analytical-tasks.md)
- Company: [Grab](https://yomu.fyi/company/grab.md)
- Author: Edmund Hong
- Published: Oct 9, 2024
- Type: Problem & solution

Data analysts at Grab faced an increasing volume of stakeholder data requests that required manually writing and executing repetitive SQL queries with minor parameter changes. To automate routine tasks like metric reporting and fraud investigations, the Integrity Analytics team paired an internal prompt-management platform, Spellvault, with Data-Arks, an in-house Python-based middleware that packages SQL queries and Python functions into APIs. A scheduler triggers automated report summarization, while an analytical bot named A\* bot executes relevant investigation queries via RAG and returns summarized findings in Slack. Automated report generation saves an estimated three to four hours per report and shortens multi-query fraud investigations to minutes. Grab favored RAG over fine-tuning because it avoids continuous retraining costs, scales faster across diverse use cases, and surfaces current production data.

### [Upgrading your Stripe plugin security](https://yomu.fyi/post/upgrading-your-stripe-plugin-security.md)
- Company: [Stripe](https://yomu.fyi/company/stripe.md)
- Author: Ben Smith
- Published: Sep 19, 2024
- Type: Problem & solution

Stripe plugins commonly authenticate merchants’ accounts with unrestricted secret API keys, but those keys grant full access and can expose payment, customer, and subscription operations if mishandled or compromised. The post presents restricted API keys (RAK) and OAuth 2.0 as zero-trust alternatives that apply identity verification and least-privilege permissions to third-party integrations. RAKs let developers define narrowly scoped permissions, while OAuth 2.0 uses Stripe’s interface for tokenized, one-click authorization and lets merchants revoke access without sharing a secret key. For existing plugins, it outlines migration through Stripe Apps, Stripe Connect, or manual RAK setup, and states that Stripe will require RAK or OAuth 2.0 authentication from October 29, 2024, with possible fees for merchants still using full-access keys after June 2025.

### [Tinder API Style Guide — Part 1](https://yomu.fyi/post/tinder-api-style-guide-part-1.md)
- Company: [Tinder](https://yomu.fyi/company/tinder.md)
- Author: Tinder
- Published: Sep 6, 2024
- Type: Explainer

Tinder’s rapid growth and expansion into domain-centric teams produced inconsistent API practices across services, including mixed error conventions, fragmented schemas, uneven versioning, unclear URIs, and weak API contracts. Part 1 presents standards for the RESTful APIs used across the platform, beginning with the URI pattern https://service-mesh-host-name/\[version\]/\[service-name\]/\[resource\]/\[sub-resource\] and guidance on concise, plural, kebab-cased paths. It defines path-prefix versioning, retaining the previous version until clients migrate and creating new versions only for breaking changes such as removing fields, changing types, or renaming fields. The guide also covers HTTP methods, standard and custom request headers, the X-Tinder- naming convention, and request tracing through MDC-populated identifiers and centralized logging. Request and response bodies, status codes, and enforcement tools are reserved for Part 2.

### [Debugging your Stripe Invoicing integration with Workbench](https://yomu.fyi/post/debugging-your-stripe-invoicing-integration-with-workbench.md)
- Company: [Stripe](https://yomu.fyi/company/stripe.md)
- Author: David Edoh-Bedi
- Published: Aug 29, 2024
- Type: Tutorial

The post demonstrates how to debug and fix Stripe Invoicing integration errors with Workbench, a context-aware tool available throughout the Stripe Dashboard. It uses the Overview and Errors tabs to locate a recent parameter\_missing error, then examines the failed Invoice create request and identifies the missing Customer object that prevented invoice creation. The Shell and API Explorer let developers list customers, supply a Customer ID, construct and run the corrected create command, and generate an SDK request from the configured fields. Workbench’s Inspector then exposes the invoice’s JSON data map, logs, and lifecycle events; the example confirms successful payment for a zero-dollar invoice and explains that non-zero charges require Invoice Items tied to products and prices.

### [Peeking under the hood of Stripe Invoicing](https://yomu.fyi/post/peeking-under-the-hood-of-stripe-invoicing.md)
- Company: [Stripe](https://yomu.fyi/company/stripe.md)
- Author: David Edoh-Bedi
- Published: Aug 26, 2024
- Type: Tutorial

Stripe Invoicing’s no-code workflow hides the API calls and invoice state transitions that developers may need to inspect when debugging payment failures. Using Stripe Workbench’s Inspector, Logs, and Events tabs, the walkthrough maps object hierarchies, requests, event payloads, and previous\_attributes across an invoice lifecycle. Creating an invoice in the Dashboard produces a draft Invoice, a separate Invoice Item, an automatically generated Invoice Line Item, and related creation or update events. Sending it creates a Payment Intent and finalizes the invoice from draft to open; charging captures the Payment Intent, creates a Charge, and changes the invoice to paid. Draft invoices can be deleted, while open invoices can be voided, preserving the record and canceling the Payment Intent, and the same Workbench method can be applied to other Stripe API areas.

### [Enterprise](https://yomu.fyi/post/enterprise.md)
- Company: [Okta](https://yomu.fyi/company/okta.md)
- Author: Semona Igama
- Published: Jul 28, 2023

This workshop shows SaaS developers how to add SCIM provisioning to an application so enterprise customers can manage users across systems, including people who have not yet logged in. It builds SCIM server functionality into a React and Express Todo application, connects it to an Okta client, and tests lifecycle operations such as importing, updating, deprovisioning, and reprovisioning users. The implementation follows SCIM 2.0 with JSON-based REST endpoints for creating, retrieving, filtering, updating, and deleting users, plus bearer-token authentication, SCIM content-type headers, logging, and soft deletion. It also explains production considerations, including unique identifiers and mapping each request’s API token to the correct organization for multitenancy. The completed application supports OIDC authentication alongside SCIM provisioning.

### [What is new in PostgREST v11.1?](https://yomu.fyi/post/what-is-new-in-postgrest-v11-1.md)
- Company: [Supabase](https://yomu.fyi/company/supabase.md)
- Author: steve\_chavez
- Published: Jul 12, 2023
- Type: Announcement

PostgREST v11.1 is available on the Supabase platform with configuration and querying improvements, plus a small set of documented breaking changes from v10. It lets JWT-authenticated impersonated roles such as anon, authenticated, and service\_role receive ALTER ROLE settings, including statement timeouts, pg\_plan\_filter statement cost limits, and configurable transaction isolation levels. The release also supports bulk JSON inserts that preserve column defaults when defaultToNull is false, and adds any/all modifiers for several filters, including eq, like, ilike, and comparison filters. For HTTP clients outside Supabase libraries, Range is now ignored on non-GET requests and RPC requests no longer use the deprecated Prefer: params=multiple-objects header; existing Supabase projects can upgrade by pausing and unpausing.
