We are looking for a Lead Industry Manager in our Singapore-based Greater China Export Sales Team. This person will oversee an explosive growth opportunity in the Greater China Region with a unique potential for sustained global impact. This role will report directly to the Director of Sales for the Greater China Region.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and grow the scaled segment to deliver against quarterly revenue, retention, and advertiser growth targets for Greater China Region (GCR).
- Own the scaled coverage model for scaled business (SMB)—define segmentation, service levels, account assignment, capacity planning, and operating cadence to maximize ROI and consistent execution at scale.
- Serve as one of the primary senior point of contacts for key GCR agencies and channel partners supporting Scaled business; build and deepen executive relationships, align on joint business plans, and co-drive partner accountability to performance.
- Develop and deploy acquisition, activation, and retention strategies/programs for Scaled business (e.g., onboarding motions, always-on optimization frameworks, reactivation plays, seasonal packages) that measurably improve spend, repeat rates, and LTV.
- Implement scalable processes, playbooks, and automation (tooling, standardized outreach, learning agendas, QA, escalation paths) that enable efficient execution across large account volumes without sacrificing quality.
- Achieve targets through rigorous planning and analytics—set goals and KPIs by segment, analyze cohort and funnel performance, identify growth constraints, and translate insights into prioritized actions and resource tradeoffs.
- Own forecasting, pipeline hygiene, and performance management—weekly/monthly/quarterly reviews, risk/opportunity management, and clear intervention plans to close gaps.
- Communicate progress and insights clearly across time zones to regional and global stakeholders; provide structured updates on program performance, partner health, and key business decisions.
- Work cross-functionally and cross-regionally with Sales Ops, Product, Marketing, Measurement, Policy, and Support to improve the Scaled business advertiser experience and remove scale blockers (billing, measurement, onboarding, creative, etc.).
- Plan and participate in local marketing and partner events to drive demand generation for Scaled business and represent Pinterest’s value proposition in-market.
- Motivate, coach, and develop sales talent in partnership with the vendor, building a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement; ensure role clarity, ramp plans, and performance standards are consistently applied.
- Clearly communicate complex AI-generated data and performance insights, transforming them into compelling narratives and actionable strategies for clients.
- Stay ahead of emerging AI and digital marketing trends, advocating for the adoption of new AI tools and practices to drive ongoing client success.
What we’re looking for:
- 8+ years of professional experience in digital media sales, online advertising, or sales leadership, preferably in driving scaled/long tail business segments.
- Well-acquainted with the export advertising business of the Greater China market; experienced in working with sales partners in the Greater China area.
- A data-driven leader with the ability to lead teams against aggressive goals.
- Demonstrated track record of leading and inspiring others.
- Experience in process management, operations management, and understanding how to grow and scale businesses.
- Ability to extract insights from data to inform strategic decisions and translate them into action plans.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
- Business proficiency in Mandarin and English is a must for business purpose
- Experience working with Agencies/Resellers is a plus.
- Fluent in Salesforce, Tableau, Excel, and other sales productivity software.
- Talent for translating complex AI-generated data into clear, actionable, and compelling narratives and recommendations tailored for clients.
- Enthusiasm for keeping up with the latest AI and digital marketing trends, with a proactive approach to recommending and implementing innovative AI solutions for ongoing client impact.
- Comfortable with 30% of travel time.
- BA/BS degree required
