Anthropic
Anthropic and Amazon have signed a new agreement to deepen their partnership and secure up to 5 gigawatts of capacity for training and deploying Claude. The deal includes Trainium2 capacity coming online in Q2, scaled Trainium3 capacity later this year, and nearly 1GW of combined Trainium2 and Trainium3 capacity by the end of 2026. Anthropic will commit more than $100 billion over ten years to AWS technologies, use AWS as its primary training and cloud provider, and make the Claude Platform available within AWS with existing account, controls, billing, governance and compliance arrangements. Amazon is investing $5 billion now, with up to $20 billion more later, building on $8 billion previously invested. The expansion responds to accelerated demand that has strained reliability and performance during peak hours.

Anthropic announces a collaboration with Boston Consulting Group (BCG) to give BCG customers around the world direct access to Claude and support enterprise AI deployments. BCG will advise customers on strategic AI applications and help deploy Anthropic models, including Claude 2, across use cases such as knowledge management, market research, fraud detection, demand forecasting, report generation, and business analysis. The partnership is grounded in responsible AI, with Anthropic citing Constitutional AI and a shared focus on helpful, honest, harmless, safer, and more reliable systems. BCG has also used Claude within its own teams and previously worked with Anthropic, including at the United Nations, while the companies say their goal is to align business impact with ethical deployment.
Anthropic
Anthropic announces a partnership with Scale to bring Claude and generative AI applications to enterprises. Scale customers can now use Claude, Anthropic’s conversational AI assistant. Businesses can build applications on Claude using Scale’s deployment and management functionality, with expert prompt engineering and model validation available to improve performance and identify weaknesses. Scale’s enterprise-grade security is available through a customer’s private AWS environment, while data connectors can import proprietary sources including databases, Confluence, Google Drive, and Outlook. The post describes the combination of Claude, Anthropic’s Constitutional AI system, and Scale’s tooling as an enterprise-ready solution, and says the partners aim to bring Claude to more organizations responsibly.

Google’s Gemini 3.8 Flash is now available in Junie’s IDE plugin and Junie CLI, accompanied by a limited-time 75% introductory discount. The model targets long, multi-step engineering tasks: it spends more tokens exploring directories, retrying failed code, writing bug-reproduction scripts, running tests through tool calls, and checking changes before completion. Google’s DeepSWE v1.1 testing is described as showing 3.8 Flash outperforming most larger frontier models at significantly lower cost, although the source does not provide specific scores. Gemini 3.7 Flash remains available for minor fixes and small refactorings, where its lower per-token cost may be preferable, while 3.8 Flash can be selected from the model picker without setup or a waitlist.
